No "call xxx-xxxx for a good time" or "Waimanalo PRIDE" scribbles on
this bathroom door in Moore Hall. Instead, here we find a handy reminder that seems to have been born out of some student's grammatical frustration. Ah, college is an interesting place, isn't it? :]

Funny. There's a typo.
Anyone else see it?
Thank you, Shayna. If one picture is worth a thousand words, I'd say this has to be worth at least ten thousand :-)
Is it "alot" should be "a lot"?
Yes, "alot" should be two words. Also, there is an unnecessary period after "IT."
Notice the comma after "STRAIGHT": when you are addressing someone, a comma comes before the person's name or an appositive. Here are some examples:
1. Good work on the quiz, Georgette.
2. Look over here, you.
3. The check please, waiter.
Hey, speaking of commas used with direct addresses, here's a good example that will hopefully remind everyone to use them properly:
"Let's eat Grandma!"
vs.
"Let's eat, Grandma!"
See the difference? If someone were to write to me using the first one, I'd respond, "Sorry! I'm not a cannibal!" :)
Great example, Chad. We have to use that one in class.
Haha, great example!
